Actress: Stage & Screen
Lori Triolo is an actress for stage and film based out of Vancouver, BC. She landed her first on screen acting job in 1994 and since then has worked on over 60 projects playing leading and supporting roles in feature films and network television shows.
Originally from New York, Lori began the study of acting with Sanford Meisner at the Neighbourhood Playhouse. Lori has received B.C.'s Best Actress Leo Award and Leading Actress Jessie Award nominations for her work on the big screen and stage.
Her selected stage credits include Ramifications of a Particular Crash, Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, Twelfth Night, Italian American Reconciliation, The Sweetest Swing in Baseball(Jessie Nomination),Where’s My Money?, Miss Julie, In the Eyes of God, and Stop Kiss.
With a long list of film and television roles, Lori has also seen recurring roles on shows including Blackstone, Fringe, Continuum, Smallville, Supernatural, The 4400, Alice, I Think, Cold Squad, Battlestar Gallactica, and Da Vinci’s Inquest.
Theatre Director
Lori's first opportunity as a director came soon after graduating from The Neighbourhood Playhouse in New York City when she directed the USA premiere of A Particular Class of Women by playwright Janet Feindel at 29th Street Rep. Since then she has directed numerous shows, built two black box theatres (one in New York and one in Vancouver), and founded a theatre company for which she has been the Artistic Director since 2004.
